An old, old-fashioned wine-farm, renovated and decorated by the owner, Karine Anfosso.
We have kept the stone, the old materials and the wood.
A trendy getaway in a country setting, with a view of the Cevennes and scented jasmine in the shade of the kiwi vines.
I love the food from the South, the interior design and the good life that the management and all the staff share with our guests.
I choose wholesome food to cook with, controlled origin produce wherever possible, farm-bred meat and poultry, farmhouse vegetables if possible and depending on the season, organically grown garden herbs, spices from all over the world and locally made cheese. We pick mushrooms depending on the season: ceps, chanterelles, morels and truffles.
The Chef's speciality, Risotto of Mushrooms of the Moment with Sheep milk brocciu.
Our restaurant and guestrooms are listed in the Michelin Guide Vert, Le Routard, Le Petit Futé, Guide Hubert and Guide des Restaurants de France.
We will introduce you to the wine produced by Karine Anfosso, the owner of the estate, an organically grown Vin de Pays des Cévennes. Domaine de Baruel in Tornac is mentioned in the Parker and Guide Hachette BIO wine guides.
